I Kings 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
I Kings 18:37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

Elia called the name of God and not let any fear conquer him. Then the fire of God came down. There must be an offering to set fire. What an offering is? It must be something very special. The most valuable thing in your life.

To become salt and light in our daily life, The fire of God must be in us. We have to make sacrifice to let the fire of God burn us then we can move according to God's will. It is our characteristics and nature as a christian to give fruit to everything near us. Let Lord Jesus come to our live, and He will shine His blessing and anointing upon us so we can become light and salt in the earth.

Building the altar of God in our family

God is power and from Him we can get our spirit and strength to build the house of God and the altar for God. We need to stay connected to God through our prayer (especially in the morning). Let us see our family, is the altar already there? we can see it by looking at how we treat our family.

Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24:16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

> Commitment to build our private relationship with God. Fix the broken relationship
> Stay away from this world gods
> Be the one who start to build ( don't wait until somebody else do it for you )
> Become a blessing to your family

The fire of the Lord is our source of power. From ourselves we can save our family then we can save our nation. I am a young man, and I want to become the arrow that shot by God to the opponent. I want to live my life to become a sacrifice to pleasure God and I am struggling to conquer my flesh.
