War

Starting from 27th December, we all hear the sound of war in Gaza, middle east. We can see many people dead, whether from Palestine or Israel itself. War is full of pain, blood, and hatred. Actually, I often ask, Is war really a normal situation that created by human? Or what did God say about war? And what did bible say about it? Me,myself feel a deep pain in my heart when I saw those people out there suffer from bullets, rockets, and nightmares.

It’s all because of Sin

Genesis 1:31 ” And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
God have made this world in perfect condition. But, in Genesis 3 sin come into human lives and ruin every good things. Evil try to put greediness and selfishness in our daily life. The earth becomes unfriendly to us and days become harder day after day.

Human now has egoism and this is the root of all war. The first kill is when Cain beat Abel to death, after that killing after killing happen over time until now. When we were kids we like to fight each other for having toys. We are getting older and keep fighting, fight for money, job, woman, or even territory.

If we look at the past, More than 15000 wars happened since 3600 BC until now and More than 4 Billion lifes gone. Just imagine how much loss of money that we got from war. We can use all of that money to build hospitals, schools, and feed the hunger and give better life for the poor. A belt to circle around the earth that made from gold and have 144 km widht and 1,5m in thickness can be made from all the money that we spent for war.
